As part of Chaplaincy Week 2014, we invite you to join us for a special three-course dinner at Spring Lakes Hotel and Function Centre, Spring Lake Metro to raise funds for the Chaplaincy Service at Springfield Lakes State School.
Now, at $90 a ticket, it's not a cheap night out. But let's be clear, it is not a night for value. This is a fundraiser. We are trying to maximise the profit from this night because the Chaplaincy committee would love to employ our Chaplain - Hayden Bridgeman - for an extra day each week. We think we can do it, and a successful fundraising dinner will go a long way toward making this a reality and we plan for it to be a great night:
Guest Speaker - Mayor Paul Pisasale will be our Keynote speaker. He's a great advocate for Ipswich, an entertaining speaker, and a great supporter of Chaplaincy.
Entertainment - Jonathan & Jodie Geange are a well known local musical duo. They are volunteering their services for the night to support this great cause. The music will be a feature of the evening.
Testimonials - the chaplaincy service at Springfield Lakes State School is well regarded. There will be several testimonials on the night in support of this important service.
Donations - If you would like to donate extra, on top of your ticket price, you can add a donation amount of your choosing when you purchase a ticket.
Get A Discount If You Book A Table - why not get a group together for the night. If you book a table of 10 the price per person drops to $80. Go on, become an advocate for chaplaincy and put a table together.
Our Host - this dinner is being hosted by Disciples Church Springfield on behalf of the Springfield Lakes State School Local Chaplaincy Committee and SU Qld. All proceeds from the dinner will be forwarded to the Chaplaincy Committee.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the dinner on Tuesday May 20!
