The first
Greater Springfield Festival of Learning will be held from October 21st
till October 26th 2019. This
festival will comprise a number of connected events and activities across
Greater Springfield to showcase and celebrate learning.
The eleven local
Principals recently formalised a leadership collective to work together as a
coalition to progress Greater Springfield as a Learning City. The biannual Festival
of Learning is the first task on the agenda. You can keep up to date of all the

As
part of this Festival, Spring Mountain State School are inviting parents to
attend their “Getting hands on with iPads” event. See here for details.
On Wednesday October 23rd, are invited to attend the official launch of Stymie and another presentation called "Getting your Techno Power Back" A session for parents/carers/ on supporting and managing screen time, internet safety and establishing boundaries at home facilitated by Stymie founder and CEO Rachel Downie.
