Outside School Hours CareYMCA Outside School Hours Care operates at Springfield Lakes State School from the OSHC building situated between the carpark and the oval, and welcomes all families of the Springfield Lakes SS community.
YMCA Springfield Lakes OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and appropriate programs that reflect real world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst the children, facilitates leadership skill development and allows your child to practice social skills in a supported and caring environment.
Programs and activities are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit - underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. we blend this philosophy with the National Quality Framework 'My Time Our Place' and Springfield Lakes State School's educational principles to develop appropriate, engaging and most of all FUN activities for your child whilst in our care.
YMCA Springfield Lakes OSHC operates from 6.15am to 8.30am and 2.45pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Educators escort Preps to and from their classroom. Nutritious breakfasts and afternoon teas are served daily to enhance the wellbeing of our children. Attendance at YMCA Springfield Lakes OSHC can be casual, part time, regular or on an emergency needs basis.
YMCA Springfield Lakes OSHC also offers onsite Vacation Care (Holiday Club) to the Springfield Lakes community. Holiday Club operates from 6.15am to 6.00pm during school holidays and student free days.
Detailed information about Holiday Club activities and associated procedures will be distributed to families leading up to the holiday period.
Parents/Guardians are required to Enrol via our online enrolment portal before any child is able to attend YMCA Springfield Lakes OSHC – this can be found on our website: www.ymcachildcare.com.au/outside-school-hours-care/springfield-lakes by clicking on the 'my family lounge' icon at the bottom of the page.
A meeting with the Coordinator is offered to all families upon enrolment, this is an excellent opportunity to discuss any concerns and assist in making your child's time with us enjoyable. All enroling families will receive an Information Package that includes additional information and relevant forms.
