Our talented staff work in partnership with parents and the Springfield Lakes community in implementing a futures oriented curriculum with a strong focus on the explicit teaching of English and Mathematics. In partnership with our parents we develop students who are skilled, optimistic and socially aware. We believe in being 'the best that we can be'.
Our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support program addresses the school and community behaviour expectations of our children. These reflect our schools core values: We are cooperative, peaceful and respectful.
Our modern school facilities include classrooms that reflect our digital age such as computers and interactive whiteboards. We have a thriving, air-conditioned resource centre and computer lab. Our specialist music block caters for classroom, instrumental and string programs. We have a well-resourced special education block and a recently built, multi-purpose hall. Our hall was developed jointly in collaboration with the local council and incorporates a community centre, sports facilities and performance/auditorium space. The school oval, multipurpose courts, shaded adventure and playground areas all provide opportunities for students to enjoy a range of outdoor activities in a sun safe environment.
